MELLOTT—Oscar Amunden, 77, of Lafayette, died in a Lafayette hospital Friday night. He was married to the former Fern DeAth, formerly of Mellott. Mr. Amunden suffered a heart attack Friday evening and died about two hours later in the hospital. He was a retired chef and caterer. He formerly resided in Wisconsin. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Hippensteel Funeral Home, Lafayette. Graveside rites will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro.
